Rehabilitation Robot
R-BoT
This device is used for reconstruction of muscles and restoration of joint movements through standing training of patients who are uncomfortable with standing up.
What is R-BoT?
Standing system for continuous lower extremity movement while the patient is lying or standing.
The drive motor of the allows the patient to remain as stable as possible and then control the operating system, the BLDC motor.
Instruments operated in a controlled manner by a chiseled control
Characteristics
- Early standing training for a paraplegic.
- Prevention of standing low blood pressure and pressure ulcer by improving blood circulation in patients who are unable to stand up.
- Increase of systemic blood flow and enhance the range of joint motion through active joint movement range training by inducing residual function activation.
- Prevent osteoporosis through mechanical pressure on bones.
- Visual feedback through VR and 3D images can be used to promote patient's willingness to rehabilitate (option).
- Functional electrical stimulation (FES) helps ease physical disabilities and improve motor skills.
- Support for assistance, passiveness, and resistance, as well as patient-specific customized treatment such as speed, stride, and slope.
